Suzanne Dolan
“I am a mother maker. I create prints while raising my two beautiful children. Making art across the kitchen table with babies underfoot or carried in arms. I have grown up in a creative household and want my children to experience the same sense of artistic value.”
Suzanne studied fine art in Ceramics in LSAD. Her work there was both sculptural and print focused with a use of old unused printing techniques on clay. After graduating, she worked with ceramic artist Barnaby Barford working on his ‘Seven Deadly Sins’ mirror series.
Suzanne started working artistically again after the birth of her youngest. After finding a community of mother creatives who all gathered around the table to draw and discuss
